Aleksandr Petrovich Generalov

A.P. Generalov is well known among entomologists. He participated in many expeditions in Middle Asia, Siberia, South America, Northern Africa and tropical Asia. At present, he holds Center of Entomological Integration "Goliaf" which breeds rare invertebrates. He owns pretty good private collection of butterflies and beetles (Carabidae), as well as a collection of 7.5 thousand zoological books and reprints. He donated several hundreds of Brazilian butterflies representing about 90 species collected by his late brother.
