We were able to include in the list of donators only those persons who gifted or bequeathed to the Museum large and outstanding collections. However, the complete list of those who delivered their gatherings would include hundreds of persons. Among those enthusiasts who were enriching the Museum' collections for many years, several entomologists are to be mentioned especially. These are: Vladimir S. Mursin, Leonid K. Selivanov, as well as our colleagues Klaus M. Naumann and Wolfgang Speidel from Germany. Collections donated by Lev N. Solntsev and Victor V. Sinyaev contain holotypes of newly described butterfly species from SE Asia.
