Professional "chekist", colonel of NKVD. Amateur entomologist, specialized on the beetles, owned a private collection most part of which was destroyed or lost. Published his scientific papers under the pseudonym Jenjurist. Became director of the Museum in 1939 and left this position in 1941. Again appeared in the Museum in 1960s to make some research works. |
