Lectotype of Ranodon sibiricus Kessler, 1866

Type collection of Division of Herpetology is stored separately from the stock collection. It includes 36 specimens of 10 amphibian taxa and 103 specimens of reptile taxa. Most of these specimens are lectotypes, paralectotypes and syntypes (35 items), others are holotypes and neotypes (26 items).

This collection is catalogued separately from the stock collection. Its catalogue was published partly in 1994 and completely in 2001.
