Exposition Stock
This is part of the Museum collections that is displayed in its
permanent exhibitions. This stock includes about 7.5 thousand specimens
which is just a minute portion of the entire Museum collection.
It is represented by Staffed skins and skeletons of vertebrate animals,
by dried insects and mollusk shells, by preparations of various
water vertebrates and invertebrates. Some specimens of this stock
are not permanently displayed, they are used for small temporary
exhibitions and sometimes in movies.
