Valentina Fedorovna Orlova
Chief of Division of Herpetology, Curator in Charge, curator of reptiles.

Candidate of Sci., Senior Researcher, member of Presidium of Russian Herpetological Society, organizer of seminars and workshops of Herpetological Section of Moscow Society of Naturalists.

Research interests are in variation, taxonomy, phylogeny and zoogeography of the lizards of the family Lacertidae (mainly genera Lacerta and Eremias) and anuran amphibians (Rana, Bufo). Published about 85 papers and several books. Participated in expeditions to Caucasus, Middle Asia, Mongolia.

Evgeniy Anatol'evich Dunaev

Curator of amphibians.

Junior Researcher, member of Presidium of Russian Herpetological Society, organizer of seminars and workshops of Herpetological Section of Moscow Society of Naturalists.

Research interests are in phylogeny and taxonomy of the desert dwelling lizards of the genus Phrynocephalus. Published about 30 papers in herpetology, about 50 papers, booklets and textbooks on natural history of animals and plant, on methods of field investigations. Participated in expeditions to various regions of European Russia, Middle Asia, Ussuri Region, Caucasus.

Leader of the Circle of young naturalists of Zoological Museum.

Technical assistant.

Studies ecology, variation, and taxonomy of the gekkonids of Middle Asia (mainly the genus Cyrtopodion). Participated in expeditions to Middle Asia, Kazakhstan.
