    Research interests: systematics, phylogeny, and zoogeography of chilopods (primarily orders Scolopendromorpha and Geophilomorpha); faunal studies of Scolopendromorpha in the Neotropics and Southeast Asia; phylogenetic relationships of genera within Scolopendromorpha; morpho-functional analysis of taxonomically important characters of scolopendrids and geophilomorphs.
