Sectors
Sector of Evolutionary Morphology
The Sector of Evolutionary Morphology was established in 1932. Its main task was to acquire and store anatomical preparations of vertebrates. Unlike the collections of other sectors of the Museum, the collections of this Sector are limited not only by systematic position of the objects, but also by their form of preparation. Wet preparations, skeletons, and micro-preparations are stored in the Sector.
Office of the Sector and its collections are located on the ground floor of the Museum in the room No. 42 at the end of the “Anatomical wing” of the Museum building located along Nikitsky Lane.
If you plan to visit the Sector, you should call its curators by phone +7 (495) 629-39-43.
