Head of the Sector of Evolutionary Morphology, curator of wet collection.

Researcher, Ph.D. in geography, member of the Geographical Society and of the Theriological Society at the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Expeditions: European part of Russia, Altai-Sayan Region, Yakutia, Transbaikalia, Primoryje Territory, Khabarovsk Territory, China (prov. Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Qinghai), India (Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Sikkim).

Main research interests lay in arealogy of mammals, including species distribution modeling; analysis of the factors affecting contemporary distribution of animals; geographical variation of some Palaearctic mammals.

Lissovsky Andrey Alexandrovich

Curator of the osteological collection of mammals, lagomorph systematic collection of the Sector of Mammals.

Leading specialist, PhD in biology, member of the Theriological Society at the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the World Lagomorph Society. Organizer of expeditions to Siberia, Transbaikalia, Far East, the Himalayas, Tibet, and some other mountain regions of Asia.

Main research interests are in systematics and distribution of mammals, analysis of biodiversity information, geographical variation and phylogeography of some Palaearctic mammal species.
